Free Shuttle Bus Connecting Airport Island and Tokoname City!

Starting April 1st 2025, the convenient and free "TOKONAME SHUTTLE" bus is now running daily on a trial basis, directly connecting Airport Island to downtown Tokoname!
The bus is decorated with a fun wrap featuring Tokoname’s official character, Tokotan!
Take advantage of this affordable, convenient, and enjoyable shuttle service!
♦ This shuttle bus is operated using accommodation tax funds.

Boarding Points Introduction
① Tokoname Station
Around Tokoname Station, you'll find many delicious and reasonably priced local restaurants, making this stop ideal for food and drink hopping! Enjoy exploring the area!
For those staying at Hotel Route-Inn Tokoname Ekimae or Spring Sunny Hotel Nagoya Tokoname Station, this stop is convenient.
The shuttle bus stop is located on the west side of the station at the rotary near the pyramid-shaped monument "Future Dream."
② Tokoname Ceramic Hall
If you’re planning to explore Pottery Footpath, this stop is perfect!
Pottery Footpath (Course A) is a 1.6km walking trail that takes about an hour to complete. Enjoy the retro atmosphere, scenic views, and renovated factory cafes unique to Tokoname.
The shuttle bus stop is located on the east side of Tokoname Ceramic Hall.
For shopping, whether it's food, daily necessities, or clothing, this stop is recommended!
You'll be greeted by the large lucky cat "Otafuku."
For those staying at J-Hotel Rinku, this stop is also convenient!
The shuttle bus stop is located at the Rinku Tokoname Station rotary.
If you’re staying at Four Points by Sheraton Nagoya Chubu International Airport, or Toyoko Inn Chubu International Airport 1 & 2, this stop is ideal for you!
⑤ Under the Airport Passageway
If you’re staying at Comfort Hotel Central International Airport, Chubu International Airport Centrair Hotel, or TUBE Sq, this stop is recommended for you!
The bus stop is located along the sidewalk between the Comfort Hotel and the end of the passageway connecting Centrair to the Aichi Sky Expo. You can reach it by crossing the passageway and taking the elevator or stairs down at the end.
Aichi International Exhibition Center (Aichi Sky Expo) hosts numerous events and international conferences. The Free Shuttle Bus starts its route from this stop.
The shuttle bus stop is located at the rotary in front of the main entrance.
